Years ago a friend told me that one day I would have my own deck of oracle cards. I looked at her as if she had grown two heads.
My first encounter with a Crystal Skull came through my friend Sue Coulson, who put her Zebra Stone Skull, Tone’y, into my hands at a workshop. I was quite repulsed by Skulls and had no intention of getting anywhere near one — and then I held him, and was blown away by the energy that came off him. I held him for the rest of the day.
Both decks were made with Philippe Ullens, guardian with his wife Dominique of the Henge Shop in Avebury. He lent me the Skulls, designed and had carved the Star Beings, and photographed every one of them. I could not have done either deck without him.
